Summary

Position Overview

The Research & Development Engineering Intern supports the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of products and processes. This role provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges, analyze data, and contribute to innovation initiatives in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with product design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities for new and existing products.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support research, product development, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including test plans, reports, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to evaluate and implement design improvements.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities, root cause investigations, and innovation projects while applying engineering principles and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor?s degree in chemical engineering, material science, or a related technical field; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools preferred.
