What you'll do in the role: Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking a Director, Cloud & Infra Engineer in New York, New York to develop, test, and maintain Mainframe automation setups to ensure system reliability, stability, and performance. Provide ongoing support for existing automation tools and features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and address performance issues. Provide support for Mainframe automation across multiple client environments. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
What you'll bring to the role:-Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Computer Systems Engineer, Cloud Infra Specialist, or a closely related occupation.
-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:
- z/OS Systems Programming and tools including Broadcom OPS-MVS and IBM Systems Automation;
- restructured extended executor (REXX);
- Job Entry Subsystem 2 (JES2);
- Job Control Language (JCL);
- Time Sharing Option (TSO) and Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF); and
- SYSLOG and OPSLOG debugging.
-Requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills:
- Broadcom SYSVIEW; and
- ChangeMan.
-Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills:
- System Modification Program/Extended (SMP/E); and
- IBM & ISV product License Management and Mainframe product install, upgrade, and maintenance.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $156,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
