The App Store Engineering R&D team is looking for talented software engineers to build and update the Apps platform. At least 4+ years of current and industry experience in designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable backend systems and web services\nIn-depth Java programming experience\nDeep understanding and strong hands-on experience in multithreading, networking (including non-blocking IO), HTTP and REST APIs\nConfidence with SQL databases like Oracle and NoSQL databases like Cassandra\nDeep understanding of data modeling, data and metadata management, and scalability challenges in distributed systems\nBe an advocate and driver for performance optimization, automation, and unit tests\nAbility to pick up new technologies quickly\nExcellent debugging, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills\nDiligent attention to detail\nBS in Computer Science, Mathematics, EE, or equivalent industry experience

Passion and prior experience designing and implementing outstanding large distributed systems\nExperience building Agentic systems in production
