Role Logistics

• Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site (Monday Friday, 7.5-hour days)

Key Responsibilities & Core Skills

To succeed in this position, you will need to leverage the following core competencies:

• Financial Auditing & Analysis: Perform systematic reviews of financial documents, conduct audit tests, and identify inconsistencies or abnormal trends.
• Tax Compliance & Research: Conduct extensive research using database applications to resolve complex payment/return issues and identify non-filed legal obligations.
• Case Development & Evidence: Review and verify the validity of financial statements and tax returns. Collect and prepare documentation to establish a strict chain of custody for investigations.
• Collections Tracking: Systematically manage, maintain, and track assessment data and active collection efforts.
• Professional Communication: Provide technical and procedural assistance to entities and resolve complex financial matters tactfully.

What You'll Need to Apply

• 8+ Years of Experience in Accounting, Tax Collection, Finance, or Financial Customer Service.
• Strong proficiency in standard accounting principles and auditing practices.
• Deep familiarity with complex database tracking systems and financial software applications.
• Critical thinking skills with a strict commitment to confidentiality laws and professional ethics.
