A top-tier, established leader in the Financial Services sector is undergoing a massive data transformation and is seeking a highly skilled Analytics Data Modeler to join a strategic, new team. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for BI and advanced analytics solutions.
- Design and optimize robust database schemas, specifically utilizing Medallion Architecture (relational, star schema, denormalized data sets).
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure seamless data integration from multiple sources, focusing on consistency and reliability.
- Lead efforts in Metadata Management and Master Data Management to ensure data quality and a "single version of the truth."
- Serve as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and data teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in data modeling, analysis, or database development.
- Expertise in SQL.
- Proficiency with modern data platforms, including a solid understanding of DataBricks Delta tables and Postgres.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Spark, AWS, Azure, etc.) and proficiency with data modeling tools like Erwin.
- Strong foundation in data governance, quality frameworks, and metadata management.
A Strong Plus (Preferred Skills):
- Domain knowledge in the insurance and/or medical business sector.
- Experience with cloud data management, data lakes, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Python and Agile methodologies.
