Senior Software Developer (C++ / Python)

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in C++ and Python to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on complex problem statements, contributing to system architecture, and mentoring junior engineers. Exposure to Machine Learning concepts and PHP is considered a strong advantage.

Must-Have Skills

• C++: Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17), memory management, STL, multithreading, and performance optimization
• Python: Solid experience in Python for application development, scripting, automation, or data processing
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Experience working on Linux/Unix environments
• Hands-on experience with debugging, profiling, and performance tuning
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Good-to-Have Skills

• Machine Learning (ML):
• Understanding of ML concepts, data pipelines, or model integration
• Experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, or similar is a plus

PHP:

• Exposure to PHP-based backend systems or legacy applications
• Ability to understand and maintain existing PHP codebases
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, or distributed systems
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components using C++ and Python
• Participate in system design and architectural discussions
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers
• Troubleshoot complex issues in development, testing, and production environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5–8 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
