Role: Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Abbott Park, IL – REMOTE – W2 Position

Duration: 18 months+ (Potential for extensions)

 

Job Description:

 

Need a Sr. Cloud Engineer with at least 8+ years of IT experience and must have strong Azure and AWS cloud experience.

 

* We need a Sr. Cloud Engineer with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and Python experience.

 

You will operate in an agile environment with a three-week sprint cadence, using modern cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Python Django, NextJS, Celery, and observability platforms like New Relic. The role involves working within established service delivery and front-end frameworks, integrating with platforms such as ServiceNow, and leveraging ETL tools like Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric where applicable.

 

Top Desired Skills:

1. Azure & AWS Cloud experience (associated certs are a plus)
2. Must be an accomplished software engineer with experience developing web applications and services
3. Must have experience developing applications hosted within Kubernetes environments.
