Required Skills and Experience
• Associate’s degree OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience providing IT desktop support in a business or enterprise environment.
• 2+ years of experience installing software applications and performing hardware upgrades on desktop computers and related server infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience supporting Active Directory Users and Computers.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and access-related issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to end users and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Ability to use time and resources effectively and efficiently to complete regular work and special projects as assigned.
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft SharePoint technologies, HP hardware platforms, and related organizational tools.
• In-depth knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, and desktop support processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, VPNs, Active Directory, Exchange, Cisco, Citrix, data migration, imaging, and backup processes.
• Ability to perform advanced technical installation, upgrades, basic troubleshooting, and reporting for desktops and laptops.
• Basic understanding of IT communication protocols and other protocols relevant to troubleshooting client host connections.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate IT assets, including shipping, receiving, tracking, and inventory-related activities.
• Provision user access and support access-related requests within an Active Directory environment.
• Manage equipment distribution, including shipping and receiving of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related devices.
• Support training, knowledge creation, documentation, and communication for desktop support processes.
• Apply strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple support requests and project tasks.
• Travel on-site as needed to support end users, hardware setup, installations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Image and install workstations and required software applications according to organizational standards.
Preferred Prior Experience
• 2+ years of experience providing IT desktop support.
• 2+ years of experience installing software applications and performing hardware upgrades on desktop computers within a business environment.
• 2+ years of experience provisioning access in an Active Directory environment.
• Prior experience supporting enterprise users in a healthcare, technology, or managed services environment is preferred.
