Summary
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly accountable and hands-on IOS Consultant to lead end-to-end release coordination, DevOps execution, production readiness, and operational support for complex iOS applications.This role serves as the central coordination point across multiple Agile Scrum teams, ensuring successful application releases while maintaining compliance with enterprise technology standards, security requirements, accessibility guidelines, quality controls, and production support processes.The ideal candidate combines expertise in iOS engineering, DevOps, release management, production support, observability, and stakeholder management, with the ability to drive issues to resolution and provide leadership visibility throughout the software delivery lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesRelease Train & Delivery Management
- Coordinate release activities across multiple Agile Scrum teams.
- Consolidate code merges, release schedules, dependencies, and deployment activities.
- Drive release readiness reviews and ensure successful release execution.
- Ensure all release deliverables comply with enterprise governance and technology standards.
- Identify, manage, and escalate cross-team risks, blockers, and dependencies.
DevOps & Automation
- Execute and support CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.
- Drive DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Improve deployment automation and leverage AI-enabled engineering tools to accelerate release validation and deployment activities.
- Support continuous integration, automated testing, release orchestration, and production deployment processes.
- Partner with development teams to improve release efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
Compliance, Security & Quality Governance Ensure applications successfully complete:QA validationSecurity reviews and vulnerability remediationAccessibility (ADA/WCAG) compliance checksCode quality and static analysis reviewsArchitecture and governance checkpoints Coordinate remediation activities with development teams. Track compliance status and provide leadership reporting.Production Support & Incident Management Provide production deployment and hypercare support. Monitor application health using observability and monitoring platforms. Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and impact assessment. Quickly identify whether issues originate from:Application codeInfrastructureNetworkThird-party integrationsDeployment processes Coordinate with development teams to drive issue resolution. Ensure production incidents are communicated and resolved within established SLAs.Monitoring & Observability
- Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify application issues.
- Analyze logs, metrics, traces, and alerts to troubleshoot production incidents.
- Perform trend analysis and recommend preventive improvements.
- Create dashboards and operational reporting for leadership visibility.
Leadership Communication & Ownership
- Act as the single point of coordination during releases and production incidents.
- Provide timely updates to business, technology leadership, and stakeholders.
- Drive accountability across teams until issues are fully resolved.
- Maintain comprehensive release, incident, and operational documentation.
- Lead post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 7+ years of IT experience supporting enterprise mobile applications. Strong experience with iOS application delivery and production support. Experience coordinating multiple Agile Scrum teams. Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, Release Management, and Production Support processes. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:Azure DevOpsGitHub ActionsJenkinsGitLab CI/CD Experience managing application deployments to production environments. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure during critical production events.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services organizations.
- Experience supporting large-scale iOS digital banking applications.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted software engineering and release automation.
- Experience with Release Engineering (RE).
