Summary

Position Overview

FutureSoft Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Kofax Developer to support the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level document and records management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Kofax platforms, .NET development, and document automation solutions.

This is a fully onsite position based in Atlanta, Georgia.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support Document Management and Enterprise Content Management systems

  • Implement and maintain Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation, and TotalAgility solutions

  • Develop and enhance OCR/ICR and barcode-based document processing workflows

  • Automate data and document extraction processes

  • Configure, install, and maintain application servers and client systems

  • Apply system upgrades, patches, and service packs

  • Develop backend and frontend components using Microsoft .NET technologies

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders for system improvements

  • Ensure system security, stability, and performance

  • Provide technical documentation and system support


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in document management and content management systems

  • Minimum 8 years experience with:

    • Kofax Capture 11, KTM 6, KCIC, KCNS, TotalAgility

    • IBM Content Management

    • OpenText / RightFax

  • Strong development experience in:

    • VB.NET, C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET, .NET Core

    • WinForms, WCF, WPF

    • LINQ, Entity Framework

  • Experience working with backend RDBMS databases

  • Strong scripting experience:

    • VBScript, JavaScript, SBL, WinWrap Basic

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • OCR/ICR technologies

    • Image preprocessing

    • Machine learning-based document classification

  • Proven experience in automating data extraction workflows

  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise applications

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in an onsite environment


Work Arrangement

  • 100% Onsite (Required)

  • Candidates must report to the Atlanta office from Day 1

  • Remote or hybrid work is not permitted


Additional Requirements

  • Must be available to start within 2 weeks of selection

  • Must comply with attendance and availability policies

  • Long-term assignment subject to funding and renewal
