Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Data Engineers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines to support enterprise data processing and integration.
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL workflows, data transformation processes, and cloud-based data solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data engineering best practices, perform code reviews, and support production issue resolution.
- Analyze data processing requirements, recommend scalable architectures, and contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise data platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
6–9 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, cloud-based data platforms, big data processing, streaming technologies, and enterprise data integration.

Technical Skills
|
PySpark, AWS, AWS Glue, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, ETL Development, Data Pipeline Development, Cloud Data Engineering

Business / Domain Skills
|
Data Integration, Data Transformation, Data Quality Management, Problem Solving, Agile Methodology, Cross-Functional Collaboration

Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing scalable batch and streaming data processing solutions in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise data architecture, distributed data processing, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience supporting production data platforms, implementing coding best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
