Hardware & storage engineer (dell / hp)

we are looking for an experienced hardware & storage engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise server, storage, and data center infrastructure. the role involves hands-on support for dell and hp hardware, storage systems, and related technologies to ensure high availability and performance.

key responsibilities

• install, configure, and maintain Dell and HP servers and storage hardware

• perform hardware troubleshooting, break/fix, part replacement, and upgrades

• manage storage systems (san, nas, das) and monitor performance & capacity

• handle firmware, bios, and driver upgrades for servers and storage devices

• support raid configuration, disk management, and backup integrations

• coordinate with vendors for rma, support cases, and hardware lifecycle management

• monitor hardware health and proactively resolve issues

• support data center operations including rack/stack, cabling, and asset management

• ensure compliance with sla, security, and operational best practices

• provide l2/l3 support and on-call support as required
