JAMF Expert (Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced JAMF Expert to manage, secure, and optimize our Apple device ecosystem using Jamf Pro. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience administering macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices in an enterprise environment, implementing security policies, automating deployments, integrating identity management solutions, and providing advanced technical support. The role requires expertise in Apple device management, endpoint security, scripting, and enterprise mobility management (EMM/MDM).

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jamf Pro for enterprise Apple device management.
• Manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS device enrollment through Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE/DEP).
• Configure and support - Jamf Connect, Jamf Protect, Jamf Infrastructure Manager and Jamf AD CS Connector (preferred)
• Implement and manage security controls
• Create and maintain - Configuration Profiles, Policies, Smart Groups, Static Groups, Patch Management and Self Service applications
• Package, deploy, and update applications using Jamf Pro.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Utilize Jamf API to automate device lifecycle management.
• Perform OS upgrades, software patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting.
• Troubleshoot complex macOS and Jamf-related issues.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Apple devices.
• Maintain accurate device inventory and lifecycle documentation.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Networking, and Help Desk teams.
• Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Stay current with Apple ecosystem updates and Jamf platform enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jamf Pro administration
• Strong expertise in macOS, iOS, iPadOS
• Strong knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM), Endpoint Management, Endpoint Security
• Experience with Jamf Connect and Jamf Protect
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune (preferred), Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory and Okta
• Experience with software packaging and deployment.
• Understanding of macOS security architecture.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
