Position: EDIFecs developer @ Bloomfield CT, Austin, TX, Warren, NJ ((Onsite 3 Hybrid ))
Job Description:
- Handson experience developing and supporting EDI solutions using the Edifecs platform
- Strong understanding of healthcare EDI transaction sets and HIPAA standards X12
- Experience with SpecBuilder Transaction Management XEngine Smart Trading and Smart Engine
- Ability to perform unit testing integration testing and production support for EDI transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Design develop and implement EDI solutions using the Edifecs platform including SpecBuilder XEngine Transaction Management and Edifecs Enterprise
- Build configure and maintain EDI transaction sets and trading partner maps for healthcare standards such as 71 276277 834 and 278
- Develop and manage workflows using Smart Trading and Smart Engine to support partner onboarding and transaction processing
- Collaborate with internal teams vendors and trading partners to translate business and functional requirements into technical EDI specifications
- Monitor EDI transactions troubleshoot errors support production issues and ensure timely resolution across environments
- Technical Skills Secondary Nice to have NOT MANDATORY
- Experience onboarding healthcare trading partners and managing payer or provider integrations
- Knowledge of healthcare claims eligibility enrollment and authorization workflows
- Experience supporting EDI platforms in production environments with high transaction volumes
- Familiarity with system upgrades migrations and performance tuning within Edifecs
- Prior experience working in large enterprise healthcare or payer environments
Education
- Bachelor s degree equivalent in Information Technology Business Information Systems Technology Management or related field of study
