Infrastructure Project Manager

Overview

My client is seeking a Project Manager to support enterprise technology modernization initiatives. This role goes beyond traditional project management and acts as a strategic integrator across infrastructure, cloud, security, and enterprise systems. The goal is to ensure initiatives are properly sequenced, risk aligned, and execution ready.

This is a high visibility role with direct exposure to IT leadership, contributing to enterprise portfolio strategy, modernization efforts, and executive level reporting.

What You Will Do

• Lead and orchestrate the enterprise technology portfolio across infrastructure, cloud, security, and modernization initiatives
• Apply risk based prioritization models to align technology investments with business objectives and enterprise risk posture
• Identify and manage cross program dependencies, constraints, and architectural impacts
• Deliver executive level reporting and portfolio insights to IT leadership and the CIO
• Align infrastructure and platform initiatives with cloud strategy, AI initiatives, and resilience goals
• Drive automation and AI assisted analytics to enhance reporting, forecasting, and governance
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Application Development, QA, Finance, Procurement, and Enterprise Risk teams
• Support audit readiness, risk mitigation, and enterprise resilience initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Orchestrate enterprise portfolio initiatives across multiple technology domains
• Align infrastructure, cloud, and security roadmaps
• Produce executive dashboards, reporting, and analytics
• Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines across programs
• Collaborate with IT and enterprise risk leadership

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise program or project management
• Proven experience leading infrastructure modernization or enterprise technology initiatives
• Strong understanding of cloud strategy, infrastructure, and security frameworks such as NIST
• Experience with portfolio management and risk based prioritization
• Strong ability to communicate with executive stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience

Must Have Skills
