Summary:

The Client has issued a request for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer that will be responsible for building and maintaining enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and AG Grid. The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise Java depth, modern front-end experience, and the ability to work across architecture, development, testing, and production support along with experience with AI integration.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications using Spring Boot, Angular, and AG Grid.

Build and enhance secure, scalable APIs and front-end components that support dynamic, data-driven business applications.

Integrate AI-enabled features into application workflows while supporting code reviews, troubleshooting, and cross-functional delivery efforts.

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

8+ years developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

8+ years building rich, data-driven front-end components using Angular and AG Grid.

8+ years developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications in enterprise environments.

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

Experience with one or more Texas State Agencies.

Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT-based coding assistants.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control practices using Git.

Responsibilities:

Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs. Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts. Utilized technology such as AI to expedite the software development process.

8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.

Build and optimize front-end components using Angular and AG Grid for dynamic, data-driven interfaces.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Integrate AI tools and techniques into application workflows for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent features.

Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Required Skills:

8 Years of Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular application development.

8 Years of Strong proficiency in Angular and AG Grid for building rich UI components

8 Years of Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and ability to work in collaborative environments

Adaptability to emerging technologies and AI-driven development practices

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) or AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT-based coding assistants).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
