The Vice President of Business Development is a high-impact role responsible for driving revenue growth across the USA market, with a primary focus on Tier One carriers and major fixed wireless service providers.


This executive will champion innovation, leveraging deep technical knowledge of wireless and wired technologies to position the company as a trusted partner in next?generation connectivity solutions.


This executive will open new doors to identify growth opportunities, cultivate senior?level relationships, and lead complex, high?value engagements that accelerate the company's market expansion.


This role will enable company's senior stakeholders to get access to and develop new relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within target customers. It is expected that this executive will utilize the wider company organization to develop a position where the customer recognizes our firm as credible, innovative and dependable supplier leading to sustainable business relationships and sustainable business growth.

responsibilities:

  • Drive market expansion for fixed wireless solutions, fibre extension, network innovation programs, and associated technology platforms.
  • Leverage an extensive contact network to proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within Tier One carriers and fixed wireless service providers.
  • Expand the existing North America revenue footprint by executing a focused scalable strategy targeting Tier One carriers, national network operators, and large enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Technology, and Finance teams to translate customer insights into new capabilities, features, and roadmap advancements.
  • Deliver thought leadership on innovative connectivity solutions by articulating technical and commercial value propositions to diverse audiences.
  • Build and sustain deep, influential relationships with senior executives, procurement leaders, technical stakeholders, and ecosystem partners within Tier One carrier environments.
  • Identify emerging market trends, technology shifts, and competitive dynamics within wireless, fixed wireless, and telecom infrastructure markets across North America.
  • Lead and actively participate in high?value, enterprise?level deal cycles from opportunity development through negotiation and close.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and complex agreements that align with strategic and financial objectives.
  • Ensure disciplined use of CRM and sales enablement tools to manage pipeline, performance metrics, and reporting.
  • Strengthen the company's brand presence and credibility within telecommunications, wireless innovation, and connectivity communities.




qualifications:

- Roll-up-the-sleeves executive who leads from the front and drives revenue through direct engagement in key opportunities.


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.


- Extensive experience selling into Tier One carriers or major telecom operators, with expert understanding of procurement, network planning, and technology adoption cycles.


- Strong knowledge of fixed wireless access (FWA), wireless networks, RF technologies, telecom infrastructure, and emerging connectivity innovations.


- Proven track record of strategic business development and closing complex, large scale enterprise deals.


- Exceptional executive level communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.


- Demonstrated ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at all organizational levels.


- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills to identify growth opportunities.
