In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying critical integration processes that seamlessly connect our diverse enterprise applications and external partners, driving efficiency, innovation, and data integrity within our sophisticated financial ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities

As a Dell Boomi Developer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable integration processes using the Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform.
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, solution architects, and various stakeholders to thoroughly gather and analyze integration requirements, effectively translating them into precise technical specifications and robust solution designs.
• Implementing complex data transformations, mappings, and orchestrations between a wide array of systems, including internal core banking applications, third-party financial services, and external partner institutions.
• Developing and managing APIs using Dell Boomi API Management, ensuring the establishment of secure, efficient, and well-documented communication channels.
• Proactively monitoring integration processes, meticulously troubleshooting any issues, and implementing swift corrective actions to ensure continuous operation, optimal performance, and uncompromising data integrity.
• Conducting thorough unit testing, actively supporting system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), and diligently assisting with defect identification and resolution.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for all integration solutions, including detailed design documents, process flows, operational procedures, and support guides.
• Adhering rigorously to Dell Boomi development best practices, version control standards, robust deployment strategies, and effective environmental management policies.
• Ensuring all integration solutions comply strictly with banking industry regulations, stringent security standards, data privacy policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and our internal governance frameworks.
• Actively participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our integration architecture, development methodologies, and team capabilities.
• Providing expert technical support and guidance to resolve integration-related incidents and problems efficiently and effectively, minimizing disruption.

Requirements

To be successful in this pivotal role, you should possess:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 8-15+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform.

Technical Expertise:

• Proven proficiency in building Dell Boomi processes, including in-depth knowledge of various connectors (e.g., Database, FTP, HTTP/S, REST, SOAP, Salesforce, SAP), document properties, process routes, and advanced error handling mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of API development and management using Dell Boomi, including designing and implementing RESTful APIs, applying robust security policies, and optimizing for performance.
• Solid experience with complex data transformation techniques, comprehensive data mapping (XML, JSON, Flat File, CSV), and scripting within Boomi (Groovy/JavaScript) for intricate business logic.
• Experience with various integration patterns (e.g., publish/subscribe, request/reply, batch processing) and message queuing technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of database concepts and strong SQL skills for efficient data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, JWT, and SSL/TLS certificates in integration contexts to ensure secure data exchange.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated integration deployments.

Industry Knowledge:

• Previous experience working within the Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech industry is highly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
• Understanding of financial data, core banking systems, payment processing, or regulatory reporting is a distinct plus.
• Awareness of stringent data security and compliance requirements relevant to the financial sector is essential.
