Job DescriptionYou will be the Systems Engineer Senior Staff (Level 5) for the Air System PHM team which is responsible for delivering prognostics and health-management capabilities on the F-35 aircraft.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer Senior Staff (Level 5) you will be responsible for defining requirements, shaping system architecture, and guiding integration and verification of Air System PHM functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead requirements development and system-architecture design for Air System PHM.
- Define and manage interfaces in the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS) and coordinate integration with MS, VS, AF, and ALIS.
- Oversee integration-testing and verification activities, ensuring success criteria are met.
- Analyze operational impact of defects, prioritize fixes, and develop work-arounds for ASRD restrictions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document PHM interfaces and support system-level reviews.

Basic Qualifications Systems engineering experience
Experience in requirements & architecture development, integration testing, or verification
Bachelors degree or above in Engineering or technical discipline.
Desired skills Proficiency with F-35 Systems Engineering approach, process, and tools (DOORS, Dimensions, SIMS, CART)
Experience in requirements & architecture development, systems integration testing, and system verification

Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and sustainment for advanced military aircraft

Project engineering and project management experience
Earned Value Management (EVM) understanding and familiarity
Technical Subcontract Management experience

Proposal writing and BOE experience
Complex software development understanding / experience
Familiarity with F-35 organization structure and functions

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
