The primary work location(s) will be at Austin, Texas 78751..
The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework.
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Thurs) required to be onsite at the location listed above.
Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).
Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
GitHub Administrator will be responsible for governance, security, compliance, and automation of the GitHub Enterprise platform. Ensure DevSecOps enablement, audit readiness, and standardized CI/CD practices across the enterprise software development lifecycle.

Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required experience in Git-based version control administration
8 Required Hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) organizations
8 Required Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies
8 Required Proficiency in GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow automation
8 Required Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
8 Required Experience with audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews
8 Required Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
8 Required Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines
8 Required Experience with GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)
4 Preferred Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
4 Preferred Knowledge of policy-as-code implementations
4 Preferred Ability to document governance standards and developer guides
4 Preferred Experience leading technical enablement sessions
III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 04/15/2026 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2026. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 780 hours
