Azure Data Lead

Position: Azure Data Lead
Location: Redmond, WA 

Mandatory Skills
                 Microsoft Fabric
o                Strong hands on experience with Fabric Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and workspace lifecycle management
•                CI/CD & DevOps
o                Expertise in Git based source control, branching strategies, and release governance
o                Hands on experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and automated deployments
•                Data Orchestration
o                Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or equivalent orchestration platforms
o                Understanding of ADF to Fabric migration and interoperability, including differences in automation and API models
•                Azure Infrastructure & Networking
o                Solid knowledge of Azure networking fundamentals (VNet, DNS, routing)
o                Experience with private connectivity patterns, including private endpoints
o                Strong understanding of identity based access control (Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities
 
 Key Responsibilities
•               Implement Fabric native patterns including:
o               Data Factory in Fabric
o                Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures
o                Workspace governed deployments and operational controls
•                Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for Fabric artifacts, including:
o                Git integration and branching strategies
o                Automated build and deployment pipelines
o                Secure credential and secret management
o                Azure DevOps YAML based delivery models

•                Experience migrating or modernizing pipelines from Azure Data Factory to Fabric Data Factory
•                Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure native tools
