We are seeking an experienced HCL contractor to support our IT team in reviewing and stabilizing our current application environment. The contractor will assist with environment configuration, deployment process evaluation, code review, and knowledge transfer to internal staff. This role requires strong technical expertise in HCL technologies, a structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to provide actionable recommendations to improve system stability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current application environments (dev/test/prod), including configurations, integrations, and dependencies.
• Review deployment processes and provide recommendations for improving efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
• Review existing application code to identify defects, risks, technical debt, or areas requiring optimization and update existing code with enhancements.
• Assist with troubleshooting environment-related issues, deployment failures, or configuration inconsistencies.
• Conduct structured knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Provide recommendations and best practices for code stability, environment management, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with internal IT staff, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare documentation outlining findings, recommended remediation steps, and improvement plans.

Mandatory Skills:

• Solid understanding of application architecture, integration points, and system dependencies.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting application code for quality, structure, and stability.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Certifications or Desired Skills

• Familiarity with best practices for application lifecycle management in enterprise environments.

Skills/Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD tools or automated deployment frameworks. Required 7 Years
• Prior consulting or contractor experience supporting environment modernization or technical remediation initiatives. Required 7 Years
• Strong hands on experience with HCL technologies (e.g., VOLT/IRIS, Foundry). Required 7 Years
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Required

• Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly in explaining technical details to non technical stakeholders. Required
