Daily Duties
Your daily responsibilities will include managing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a comprehensive network infrastructure. This network is built upon a foundation of various solutions, including Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet/FortiGate, Certes, Citrix NetScaler, and Trellix technologies. You will proactively monitor network performance, ensure efficient communication across the network, improve security compliance through cybersecurity best practices, and implement updates or changes to maintain optimal connectivity and secure version compliance. You will be part of a multi-team environment, requiring the ability to support multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Additionally, you will work closely with technical teams and provide knowledge transfer and informal training to peers where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Perform the configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of networking products.
- Troubleshoot network failures and identify network problems.
- Conduct network analysis, design, installation, configuration, and support.
- Maintain network diagrams and other network documentation.
- Provide configuration, troubleshooting, and problem resolution support.
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues in a complex, voice-integrated infrastructure.
Required Skills
- 10 years of experience with Cisco firewalls
- 10 years of experience with Cisco routers
- 10 years of experience with Cisco switches
- 10 years of experience with Cisco VPN
- 10 years of experience with Cisco administration
- 5 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Preferred Skills
- 10 years of experience with knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools
- 10 years of experience in core network architecture
- 10 years of experience with advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching
- 4 years of experience with wireless networks
- 3 years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA
- CCNP
