Job Summary:
The Product Manager (Offshore Proxy Product Owner) will play a crucial role in our Agile Release Train (ART) by acting as a proxy for the Product Owner. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a proxy for the Product Owner in an offshore capacity, representing their interests and priorities.
Collaborate with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and development teams to define and prioritize the product backlog.
Ensure alignment of product vision, goals, and objectives with the overall business strategy.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.
Participate in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
Define and communicate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Monitor and track progress, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to the development team.
Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Agile and SAFe methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Certification in SAFe or Agile methodologies is a plus.
