As a algorithm engineer, you will collaborate with an outstanding group algorithm engineers, software engineers, and our hardware engineering partners to develop new technologies for Apple's next generation products. The focus will be innovating and delivering effective, efficient and well-tested computer vision based solutions from prototyping to shipping that are often deployed on edge devices. Besides domain expertise and technical knowledge the ideal candidate will possess the self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative to achieve those goals. BS in Machine Learning related fields (i.e. Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics) and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience\nProficiency in Python\nSolid background in machine learning and ML framework.Proficiency developing large scale models using modern machine learning packages (e.g TensorFlow, PyTorch)\nExperience with machine learning model interpretation, statistical inference, and evaluating deep learning models
MS/PhD in Machine Learning related fields (i.e. Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics)\nExperience with LLM techniques, vision transformers, and multimodal networks\nFamiliarity with prompt engineering, and ability to use AL to develop efficient workflow\nExperience with software design, design data pipeline, and use C/C++\nExcellent interpersonal skills, communication, and documentation skills, including ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
