Duties & Responsibilities:

The engineer will be responsible for the design and development of FPGA functionality implemented in state-of-the-art Network Test Equipment. The work will include design specification, documentation, coding, simulation, debug and verification, and support of the product throughout its lifecycle. The engineer will collaborate closely with PCB, firmware, software, and product verification developers.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • BSEE, MSEE, and 5+ years of related experience
  • High-speed multi-gigabit digital system design experience
  • Experience with power supply design for embedded systems
  • Experience with next-generation embedded GNSS Positioning, Navigation, and Timing systems.
  • Experience with MATLAB particularly developing next-generation embedded GNSS Positioning, Navigation, and Timing systems.
  • Experience with IMU/INS design a big plus.
  • Experience with designing products that meet EMC and Safety requirements
  • Experience with schematic and PC layout tools, Cadence Allegro preferred
  • Experience with simulation and modeling tools including, MATLAB, PSPICE and signal integrity tools
  • Experience in FPGA design and microprocessors is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas with people from across the world
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, coupled with a well-focused attention to detail; ability and commitment to produce a timely and highly accurate product
  • Experience as a project lead is a plus
  • Knowledge of EMC/Safety standards for test and measurement equipment
