Resource 1 is seeking Jr. Data Operations Analysts to support a high-volume client implementation initiative. These individuals will work within our client’s Technical Operations team, initially focusing on processing a significant backlog of incoming client data files, mapping fields, applying transformation logic, and ensuring data can be successfully imported into our client’s systems. Later, responsibilities will transition primarily to troubleshooting member registration and eligibility issues during a peak client onboarding period.
This is a hands-on technical operations and data configuration position, not a software development or data engineering role. Programming experience is not required, although experience with structured data, data manipulation, and logical problem-solving is highly valuable.
Responsibilities:
Initial Focus: Data File Transformation & Configuration
- Review client implementation tickets containing file specifications, mapping requirements, and configuration instructions.
- Configure healthcare data file transformations using our client’s internal AI-enabled visual mapping platform.
- Map incoming data fields to required system fields and apply business rules and transformation logic.
- Perform operations such as combining or splitting fields, reformatting data, modifying values, and applying conditional logic.
- Validate file configurations and transformed data for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify missing or unclear requirements and work with internal Implementation teams to obtain clarification.
- Troubleshoot basic mapping and configuration issues and escalate complex problems when appropriate.
Secondary Focus: Registration & Eligibility Support
- Investigate and troubleshoot member registration issues during peak enrollment activity.
- Identify potential issues involving eligibility files, registration records, or system configurations.
- Apply established troubleshooting procedures and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a data-focused analytical, technical operations, application support, or related role.
- Hands-on experience reviewing, manipulating, validating, or transforming structured data.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, including the ability to understand relationships between data fields and follow multi-step transformation rules.
- Ability to work with data files, recognize inconsistencies, and identify potential errors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Operations Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Implementation Analyst, or Technical Support Analyst.
- Familiarity with SQL concepts, data mapping, ETL processes, or data transformation logic.
- Experience working with CSV files, Excel, or other structured data formats.
- Experience supporting software implementations, client onboarding, or file-based integrations.
- Familiarity with healthcare eligibility, enrollment, or claims data.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to analyze information or solve technical problems.
- Experience using ticketing systems and collaboration tools such as Slack.
