About the RoleIn this contingent resource assignment, you will support moderately complex software engineering initiatives and contribute to broader technical planning efforts. You will apply hands-on engineering expertise, conduct analysis to address varied technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
You will work closely with client engineering teams, leveraging your knowledge of development best practices, organizational policies, and compliance requirements to help drive successful outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguous technical problems and contributing to scalable engineering deliverables.
Responsibilities- Participate in the design, development, and execution of moderately complex software engineering initiatives.
- Analyze engineering challenges involving multiple variables and propose data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to resolving technical issues, recommending improvements, and ensuring alignment with engineering standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client engineering teams to support project goals and deliver high-quality results.
- Support planning and implementation for software engineering deliverables within larger technical programs.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of software engineering experience, OR equivalent through a combination of work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education.
Technical Skills (Preferred)- Python Development: 5+ years of experience developing applications using Python.
- Python for Machine Learning: Familiarity with common ML workflows and Python-based ML tooling.
- Python Coding Best Practices
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) exposure or practical experience.
- MySQL: Experience working with relational databases.
Additional Skills- Knowledge of IoT devices, including surveillance cameras and security equipment.
- Understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts and environments.
