Scrum Master with State healthcare Department Experience

Job Title: Scrum Master (Agile Delivery / Data Platform)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a large-scale data platform modernization initiative. This role will focus on driving Agile delivery, sprint execution, and team efficiency using Azure DevOps (ADO). The ideal candidate will ensure predictable delivery, remove impediments, and maintain high-quality Agile practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Manage and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, backlogs, and workflows
• Ensure well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint readiness
• Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput, flow metrics)
• Identify, track, and remove impediments/blockers impacting delivery
• Ensure end-to-end traceability (Epics → Features → User Stories → Tasks → Releases)
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and reporting in ADO
• Drive continuous improvement and Agile best practices across the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DataOps, Engineering, and Governance teams
• Support release planning, deployment tracking, and production readiness

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) – Boards, Pipelines, Dashboards
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and SDLC
• Experience managing backlogs, sprint planning, and Agile reporting metrics
• Proven ability to remove blockers and improve team delivery performance
• Strong communication and team facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to DataOps, data platforms, or analytics environments
• Experience working with government or healthcare clients
