Job Role: SAP PP + QM

Location: 100% Remote

Travel: 50% mandatory

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned SAP PP/QM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise across manufacturing and quality processes, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to lead implementations, enhancements, and support engagements in an onshore environment

Key Responsibilities

·      Lead and support SAP PP and QM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.

·      Configure and optimize PP processes, including:

·      Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers)

·      Demand Management and MRP

·      Production Orders and Capacity Planning

·      Configure and support QM processes, including:

·      Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-Process, Final)

·      Inspection Plans, Characteristics, and Results Recording

·      Quality Notifications and Defect Management

·      Integrate PP/QM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.

·      Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

·      Support UAT, cutover activities, defect resolution, and production support.

·      Prepare and maintain functional documentation including BRDs, FSDs, configuration documents, and test scripts.

·      Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior consultants.

·      Participate in solution design reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·      8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM.

·      Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

·      Experience with MRP, capacity planning, production execution, and quality inspections.

·      Solid integration knowledge with MM, SD, and FI/CO.

·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·      Proven experience working in onshore, client-facing roles in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP/QM.

·      Exposure to discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing environments.

·      Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations.

·      Knowledge of compliance and quality standards (ISO, FDA, GMP, etc.).

Nice to Have

·      Experience with PP-PI or advanced planning tools.

·      Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing or MES integration.

·      Prior experience in regulated industries such as pharma, medical devices, or food manufacturing.
