Come innovate with us!Position SummaryA Systems Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining the digital systems and data to better manage and track the overall health of the PCS equipment fleet. The PCS equipment fleet includes dry vacuum Pumps, heat-exchanging Chillers, chemical abatement Scrubbers, and associated Accessory equipment like gate valves, pipe heaters, and N2 injection systems.
Role and ResponsibilitiesHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:- Maintain data accuracy and standardization across multiple Samsung enterprise systems involving our equipment parameters (iPCS), equipment changepoints (G-EMS), and equipment information (SMDM/AMS).
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the different PCS equipment modules.
- Partner with the equipment engineers to setup defense lines.
- Provide early warning for impending equipment failure or needed maintenance.
- Resolve any equipment communication errors by understanding relevant data communication pipelines and protocols.
- Lead Digital Transformation in the department to drive down manual / paper-based tasks.
- Migrate the associated items into mobile devices or cloud solutions.
Skills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with sub-fab systems in semiconductor industry.
- Experience in other manufacturing environments with large quantities of equipment.
- Experience with various coding languages and data visualization software.
- Previous experience with vacuum pumps, refrigerant based chillers, or gas abatement scrubbers preferred.
- Proficiency in data/statistical analytics.
- Knowledge of common industrial sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.).
- Proficiency with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts and how to implement them in industry.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated teamwork across maintenance, process, and capital-project functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication - capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
