Are you an experienced Mechanical Designer with a knack for precision and a love for innovation? We are a leading company in the Manufacturing industry, seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Mechanical Designer. This is an exciting opportunity for you to apply your skills in an environment that values creativity, efficiency, and quality. You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D drawings and designs for manufacturing and assembly, and working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Mechanical Designer, you will be tasked with the following:
1. Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software.
2. Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
3. Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
4. Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
5. Designing and executing complex 3D models for manufacturing and assembly.
6. Collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production.
7. Ensuring all designs meet legal guidelines and safety requirements.
8. Working with welding related to structural steel and pressure vessels.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
4. Extensive knowledge of welding related to structural steel and pressure vessels.
5. Excellent technical drawing skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
