The Associate Copy Editor / Proofreader is responsible for ensuring written content is clear, consistent, accurate, and publication-ready. This role involves refining draft materials to meet quality standards for grammar, style, tone, and accessibility across a variety of publications and delivery platforms. The position requires flexibility to work across a diverse delivery landscape, including Agile application development, support, and deployment environments.

Your Role

* Review, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and credibility
* Correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and stylistic errors
* Ensure content meets editorial standards and is accessible to its intended audience
* Prepare copy for publication across multiple formats and platforms
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments
* Manage assigned workload efficiently and provide regular status updates to management
* Support application-related documentation, testing, training materials, and release communications as needed


Your Skills and Experience

* 1 3 years of relevant professional experience
* Strong copy editing and proofreading skills
* Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax knowledge
* Ability to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and credibility of content
* Attention to detail and high standards for written quality
* Ability to prepare content for publication across multiple formats
* Familiarity with editorial style guides and content standards
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Flexibility to work across Agile development, support, and deployment environments
* Basic understanding of application services and technical documentation
* Applicants must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship
