We’re looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance SAP solutions. This role requires deep expertise in modern ABAP development on S/4HANA, architecture design, and integration patterns. Experience with SAP BRIM is highly desirable to support complex billing and revenue management scenarios.

 

Define and own the technical architecture for SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and transformations

Lead ABAP development strategy, including clean core principles and extensibility models (in-app & side-by-side)

Design and review RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)

Provide architectural guidance on code pushdown techniques (RAP, CDS views, AMDP, HANA-optimized development)

Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, performance optimization, and secure coding standards

Drive integration architecture using APIs, OData services, IDocs, and middleware (e.g., CPI)

Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Lead technical governance, code reviews, and quality assurance processes

Mentor and guide ABAP developers and technical teams

Support cutover planning, deployments, and post-go-live stabilization

Design and support solutions across BRIM modules (SOM, CC, CI, FICA, Convergent Invoicing)

Develop and optimize billing, charging, and invoicing processes

Integrate BRIM with S/4HANA Finance, SD, and external systems

Provide technical leadership for subscription-based and usage-based billing models

 

10+ years of SAP technical experience with strong focus on ABAP

Proven experience in S/4HANA implementations or conversions

ABAP OO, Reports, Enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits)

RAP

CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Fiori services

HANA database concepts and performance tuning

Strong understanding of Clean Core and SAP extensibility framework

Experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, CPI/PI/PO)

Hands-on experience in code reviews, architecture governance, and technical leadership

Familiarity with DevOps practices in SAP (e.g., gCTS, CI/CD pipelines)
