An established financial services organization is seeking a Scrum Master to support a high-visibility remote initiative. This role will lead Agile delivery efforts, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and help drive effective sprint execution across cross-functional teams.
About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach the team on Scrum practices and Agile principles to support consistent delivery
Identify, troubleshoot, and remove impediments that affect productivity and sprint progress
Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to prioritize work and achieve project milestones
Track sprint progress, team metrics, and work items using Azure DevOps and ServiceNow
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile planning and sprint management
Experience working with ServiceNow
Strong understanding of Scrum methodologies and Agile frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven ability to facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams
Desired Skills:
Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification
Experience supporting CMDB, ITSM, or enterprise technology initiatives
Experience working within large enterprise or financial services environments
Knowledge of Agile metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices
Experience coaching Agile teams and mentoring team members
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
