Summary

Andersen is hiring an Integration Engineer for a project integrating an insurance platform into the client’s ecosystem, ensuring seamless system alignment and efficient business processes. 

The customer is an international insurance company operating across multiple countries, known for expertise in niche markets and commitment to high-quality service. The project is focused on integrating OneShield into the client’s ecosystem, ensuring seamless alignment with existing systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and support business operations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Participating in different phases of the SDLC, focusing on system implementation and integration.  
  • Configuring and implementing insurance product logic, workflows, and platform features within the OneShield ecosystem.  

  • Supporting the design and documentation of technical solutions following the Hiscox Change Delivery Framework.  

  • Working collaboratively with development, QA, and UAT teams to ensure successful feature implementation and issue resolution.  

  • Assisting in deployments across environments and validating system configuration.  

  • Analyzing and troubleshooting technical and functional issues arising during implementation and production support.  

  • Documenting configuration changes, implementation steps, and integration flows.  

  • Continuously developing knowledge of the OneShield platform and insurance domain.

Must-haves: 

  • Experience as a OneShield Developer for 3+ years. 

  • Experience with system integration and API management platforms. 

  • Understanding application configuration and integration in enterprise platforms. 

  • Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs and web services. 

  • Experience with application servers such as WildFly, Tomcat, or JBoss. 

  • Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Ant. 

  • Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server). 

  • Ability to read and understand technical design documents and implementation specifications. 

  • Experience working in Agile development environments. 

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, analysts, and business stakeholders. 

  • Exposure cloud environments or serverless architectures. 

  • Understanding front-end technologies and APIs. 

  • Familiarity with Agile practices such as Kanban, BDD, TDD, or XP. 

  • Experience with insurance product configuration or policy administration systems. 

  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. 

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Experience with Java ecosystem and enterprise applications.
