Job Details
Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Cost Engineer to work in the Defiance, OH area.
Essential Functions
- Core belief in site Safety.
- Contract resource - fixed hourly rate for hours worked.
- Start date ~beginning of 2026 thru end of 2028. Standard 40 hr. work week, with overtime as approved.
- Manage Field Change Requests: Develop, track, analyze, forecast, and process on-site changes. Run weekly Contractor meetings for FCN review and approval.
- Invoice Review: Validate invoices against approved contracts and FCRs.
- Cost Reports: Assist with preparation, contractor forecasting, and monthly variance justification.
- Earned Value Measurement: Create, maintain, and report progress measurement for Contracts.
- Cash Flow Management: Update and track cash flow for Capital and Expense, explaining variances.
- Schedule: Review and comment on Master and Contractor work schedules.
- Contract Close Out: Ensure documentation is complete, apply back charges, and lead Contractor evaluation reviews.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of paper production equipment and processes is advantageous.
- Understanding of Project Control processes.
- Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with Oracle Aconex is a plus.
