Summary

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Cost Engineer to work in the Defiance, OH area.

Essential Functions

Core belief in site Safety.
Contract resource - fixed hourly rate for hours worked.
Start date ~beginning of 2026 thru end of 2028. Standard 40 hr. work week, with overtime as approved.
Manage Field Change Requests: Develop, track, analyze, forecast, and process on-site changes. Run weekly Contractor meetings for FCN review and approval.
Invoice Review: Validate invoices against approved contracts and FCRs.
Cost Reports: Assist with preparation, contractor forecasting, and monthly variance justification.
Earned Value Measurement: Create, maintain, and report progress measurement for Contracts.
Cash Flow Management: Update and track cash flow for Capital and Expense, explaining variances.
Schedule: Review and comment on Master and Contractor work schedules.
Contract Close Out: Ensure documentation is complete, apply back charges, and lead Contractor evaluation reviews.
Assist with other duties as needed.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of paper production equipment and processes is advantageous.
Understanding of Project Control processes.
Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Superior interpersonal skills.
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Familiarity with Oracle Aconex is a plus.
