Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Director to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise SAP solutions across the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.

This individual will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives, designing scalable SAP ecosystems, and ensuring solutions align with business priorities, operational excellence, and industry compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will combine deep SAP expertise with strong consulting, leadership, and stakeholder engagement experience in highly regulated environments.


Key Responsibilities

<>SAP Strategy & Transformation
  • Define and execute enterprise SAP strategy aligned with business and operational objectives.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives supporting clinical operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory functions.
  • Drive innovation through adoption of emerging technologies and modern SAP capabilities.
<>Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Lead architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of SAP platforms including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, ATTP, and EHS.
  • Develop scalable and compliant SAP landscapes that support long-term business growth.
  • Guide cloud transformation and SAP modernization programs.
<>Executive Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to define solution roadmaps and priorities.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP strategies.
  • Present solution approaches and demonstrate measurable business value.
<>Program Leadership & Governance
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex SAP programs including implementations, upgrades, validation, and optimization efforts.
  • Manage budgets, delivery timelines, governance, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate execution across business teams, technology groups, and external partners.
<>Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure SAP environments align with industry requirements including FDA, EMA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Lead validation activities and support audit readiness initiatives.
<>Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with teams across R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver tailored business solutions.
<>Data Governance & Security
  • Establish strong controls around data integrity and application security.
  • Ensure protection of sensitive operational and patient-related information.
<>Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing SAP teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

<>SAP Expertise
  • Strong functional and technical understanding across SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, and ATTP
  • Experience leading SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration initiatives
  • Knowledge of SAP integration architecture, ABAP, and SAP UI5/Fiori
  • Exposure to Agile delivery and enterprise transformation programs
<>Industry Experience
  • Deep understanding of Life Sciences and Healthcare operating environments
  • Experience delivering solutions within regulated industries
<>Leadership Competencies
  • Executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong program and transformation leadership experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to align technology delivery with strategic business outcomes

Experience

  • 15–22 years of SAP experience, including leadership of enterprise transformation initiatives within Life Sciences and Healthcare environments

Preferred Certifications

  • SAP Certification in relevant modules
  • PMP or equivalent program management certification preferred
  • ITIL certification preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent)
