Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with at least 5 years of relevant experience to design and optimize customer journeys for wire transfers across multiple client interaction channels. This position will focus on defining the future-state experience for wire processing, including client initiation, tracking, amendment, and resolution of wire payments through platforms such as CashPro, SWIFT, and Financial Institution (FI) interfaces.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both client-facing experiences and underlying wire processing lifecycles, and will be adept at translating customer needs, operational realities, and regulatory requirements into actionable designs and requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end customer journeys for wire payments across all interaction channels.
- Define future-state wire experiences, including initiation, settlement, tracking, and investigation processes.
- Analyze current-state customer journeys to identify pain points, gaps, and inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, UX, operations, compliance, and technology, to shape and refine future designs.
- Translate journey designs into detailed business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Ensure alignment between client experience and back-office wire processing systems (e.g., Fedwire, SWIFT, CHIPS).
- Define consistent behaviors across channels, accounting for channel-specific differences.
- Support validation, testing, and rollout of new wire journey capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in the financial services industry.
- Proven experience designing customer journeys for wire transfers or payment processing.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and customer requirements into functional specifications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be located in the United States and able to work on-site or in a hybrid capacity in Charlotte, NC or Newark, NJ as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specific platforms (e.g., CashPro, SWIFT, FI interfaces).
- Knowledge of wire payment regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting testing and rollout of new financial technology solutions.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles or process reengineering.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($48.45 to $233.28 ). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
