TITLE: Security Systems Administrator - NDR
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA hybrid
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 03/16/2026 to 09/30/2026
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation, support, monitoring, and optimization of the network detection and response infrastructure.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
- Review system and application logs.
- Upgrade and maintain system updates based on vendor recommendations.
- Troubleshoot new and unknown problems independently.
- Collaborate with detection engineering and other groups to support configurations and verify data accuracy.
- Develop processes and procedures to optimize security solutions.
- Support security research, assessments, presentations, and industry collaboration.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of work experience in system operations and support.
- Experience supporting applications and collaborating with other groups.
- Working knowledge of computer networks, firewalls, IDS/IPS, NetFlow, and system logging.
- Experience with Python, Linux CLI, Unix shell scripting, REST APIs.
- Ability to evaluate and solve complex security problems and design efficient solutions.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new skills quickly and share knowledge with the team.
- Valid state driver’s license.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting Zeek-based NDR platforms.
- Support for packet broker hardware.
- Knowledge of information security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Technical certification in cybersecurity.
- Understanding of current cybersecurity technologies and emerging capabilities.
- Experience with networking administration and Cisco CLI commands.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $45.00 to $55.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
