Summary

Our client is looking for a Full-Stack Tech Lead for their team. As a Full-Stack Tech Lead, you will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers building digital experiences used by millions every day. You will play a key role in the global platform engineering organization working hands-on with cutting-edge technologies, modern architectures, and cloud-native solutions.

You ll architect, design, and develop robust full-stack applications using emerging and traditional technologies such as Node.js, React Native, React, REST, JSON, HTML5, CSS, Selenium, NGINX, Kubernetes, Express, Docker, Chef, NoSQL databases, and Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.

You will fully leverage cloud platforms primarily AWS, and secondarily Google Cloud Platform including advanced services and GenAI capabilities. Projects will span across serverless, microservices, container orchestration, AIpowered experiences, and global scale digital delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years building applications using Node.js, React, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, HTML
  • 9+ years of experience with AWS Cloud
  • 9+ years working with large microservice-based architectures, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS
  • 9+ years with database technologies, preferably NoSQL (AWS DynamoDB)
  • 7+ years designing and developing RESTful APIs
  • 7+ years using unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber JS, Jest, or Mocha
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Node.js, REST, JSON
    • Docker, NoSQL databases, Tomcat
    • Microservices & backend API development
    • CI/CD & automation frameworks
  • Experience with AWS services:
    • CloudFormation, S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway/Apigee
  • 2+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience, including:
    • Cloud Run
    • GKE or managed Kubernetes (AKS equivalent)
  • Experience architecting or operating in multi-cloud environments

AI / GenAI (High Priority)

  • Experience leveraging AWS Bedrock models for:
    • Text generation
    • Chat applications
    • Embeddings
    • Search or personalization experiences
  • Experience building or integrating GenAI features in production systems
  • Experience with EKS GenAI patterns, vector databases, prompt workflows, or model orchestration is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Familiarity with Angular, Ionic, or mobile-native development
  • Comfortable with Git (GitLab/GitHub) and branching strategies
  • Exposure to retail, ecommerce, or high transaction systems
  • Experience designing systems with observability, scalability, and resilience in mind

Salary/Rate: $55-$70/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week
