Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and manage IBM Turbonomic ARM to automate performance assurance across on-prem, AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, and hybrid environments.
- Analyze workloads, dependencies, and resource consumption to recommend continuous optimization actions.
- Integrate Turbonomic with enterprise platforms (VMware, Kubernetes/OpenShift, ServiceNow, Terraform, Azure DevOps, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog).
- Conduct performance tuning and forecasting to support capacity planning, surge readiness, and DR/COOP requirements.
- Implement policy-based automation aligned with agency governance (Client 4300A, USDA CPIC, DoD SRG).
- Monitor application SLOs, latency, and resource utilization to prevent performance degradation.
- Support FinOps teams with cost-saving insights and real-time resource governance.
- Deliver dashboards, reports, and implementation documentation for ATO packages and engineering reviews.
- Provide SME support during audits, authority-to-operate (ATO) renewals, and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3 7+ years in cloud operations, performance engineering, or virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Turbonomic ARM in enterprise or federal environments.
- Strong background in VM, container, and microservice architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, VMware, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with NIST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, and ITSM/CMDB integrations.
Preferred Certifications
- IBM Turbonomic Operations Manager Certification
- AWS/Azure cloud certifications
- Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)
- ITIL v4
