EMS/SCADA Solution Engineer/ Integrator
100% Remote
Long Term Contract/ Full time role
Responsibilities:
The role includes configuring and integrating applications (EMS/SCADA) with field devices, telemetry and RTUs, front end processors, and adjacent enterprise systems. It requires performing data modelling, configuration, and interface mapping, including measurements, controls, alarms, and topology. The role involves investigating and resolving defects and integration issues by analyzing logs, configuration, and protocol traces, and participating in deployments, commissioning, and cutovers, sometimes during off hours or on site.
Job duties of Solution Integrator:
- 5 + years of experience with C++, Java or other secondary skills
- C++ Development, Linux Development, Python, Powershell, Java, C Development.
- Experience with Operating system such as MS-Windows Server and Red Hat Linux.
- Experience in using Virtualization (VMware vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc).
- Experience with web and other technologies such as HTML 5, Javascript, CSS and JQuery, Perl script, Phyton, strawberry Perl, RDBMS system such as oracle, MS-SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Power BI reporting, Tableau, crystal reports, etc.
- Familiar with Automatic process deployment, continues improvement (CI) and continues deployment (CD), GitOps, Automation Management Platform (AMP), Ansible, Jenkins.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
- Ability to manage client discussions, and technical reviews.
- Effective communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

Education:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer science / electrical engineering or equivalent
