Document Scanning Technician

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction

Backgroung check will be required 

Key Responsibilities

• Locate and retrieve engineering and manufacturing documents (physical & digital)
• Organize, sort, and prepare documents for scanning
• Scan and digitize documents with high accuracy
• Upload files into QMS (Quality Management System) with proper metadata and naming conventions
• Perform quality checks for completeness, legibility, and formatting
• Reconcile physical and digital records to identify gaps
• Collaborate with engineers, quality teams, and plant personnel
• Maintain document control and ensure compliance with regulated standards

Required Skills

• Basic computer skills (file management, PDF tools, data entry)
• Strong attention to detail and process adherence
• Experience with document scanning, document control, or records management
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Good communication skills (cross-functional teams)
• Physical ability to handle documents and be on feet as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience with QMS or document management systems (e.g., SAP, ETQ, SharePoint, Laserfiche)
• Exposure to engineering drawings / blueprints
• Background in aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industries
• Prior internship/co-op or admin experience in technical environments
