About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) veteran to join our team. You will be responsible for resolving problems in a distributed environment and digging deep into technical issues within a complex trading ecosystem.

Work Schedule:

    Hybrid Model: In-office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote on Tuesdays and Fridays.

    Note: Candidates will work remotely until a seat becomes available on-site at one of the designated locations.
Responsibilities
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Provide enterprise-level system administration, support, troubleshooting, and tuning for both Windows (2016, 2019, 2022 via VM) and Linux environments.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Design and write automation scripts to streamline operations.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Build application dashboards for proactive monitoring and set up alerts for early issue detection using tools such as Grafana, Influx, Datadog, Moog, and ThousandEyes.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Manage deployment activities and maintain high-availability architectures in large-scale distributed systems.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and drive process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    6-8 years of experience in enterprise-level administration and support.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    6-8 years of experience writing automation scripts and building proactive monitoring solutions.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    6-8 years of experience practicing SDLC and implementing process improvements.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Proficiency in one or more programming languages: .NET, C#, PowerShell, YAML, Java, Python, or Bash.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Strong knowledge of IP networking, including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and IP routing.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Database experience with one or more of the following: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Postgres.
Preferred Qualifications

    Prior experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0" style="">
    Experience working within Agile methodologies.
