Position # : FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer / Solution Architect)
Location : Orlando, FL (Hybrid 3 days onsite).
Type of hire: FTE
JD:
We need someone who is comfortable operating with C-level executives, can understand business objectives and expected outcomes, translate use cases into solution architecture on Kore products, and then execute hands-on to build prototypes and production solutions.
This role requires strong GenAI capability—both in constructing solutions directly and leading a lean team to deliver at enterprise scale. They should also be able to contribute code for FRs back to product.
The Role
· We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer / Solution Architect who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to solve complex enterprise problems directly alongside our largest customers. This is not a traditional solutions consulting role. You will be embedded with Fortune 500 technical teams, working hands-on to architect, build, and scale agentic AI solutions that transform how these organizations operate.
· You are the kind of engineer who can walk into a room with enterprise architects, CIOs, and infrastructure leaders — understand their most complex challenges — and then go build the solution. You think from first principles, thrive in ambiguity, and treat every customer engagement as both a technical challenge and a strategic opportunity.
· Based out of our San Francisco or Orlando offices, you will work closely with implementation teams across the US and remote geographies — coordinating across time zones to drive successful enterprise deployments end-to-end. This role requires the ability to lead distributed teams, align stakeholders across regions, and maintain execution quality regardless of where the work is happening.
What You Will Do
· Solve Hard Problems at Scale: Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their most complex technical challenges — integration bottlenecks, scaling constraints, multi-system orchestration — and architect solutions from the ground up.
· Hands-On Architecture & Engineering: Design, prototype, and implement solutions using the Kore.ai Agent Platform. Write code, build integrations, optimize performance, and debug production issues. You’re not just drawing architecture diagrams — you’re building the system.
· Enterprise Architect Engagement: Serve as the technical peer to customer enterprise architects and CIOs. Present architecture blueprints, lead design reviews, and establish trust as the go-to technical authority for complex deployments.
· Customer-Facing Technical Leadership: Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and proof-of-concept implementations. Translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Bridge Product & Customer Reality: Act as the critical feedback loop between what customers need and what our platform delivers. Influence product roadmap with real-world insights from enterprise deployments.
· Scale What Works: Document solution patterns, create reusable architectures, and build technical assets that enable the broader team and partner ecosystem to replicate success.
· Technical Due Diligence for Strategic Deals: Support high-value sales engagements with deep technical credibility — conducting architecture assessments, building custom demos, and de-risking complex implementations.
What We Are Looking For
Must Have
· 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience in enterprise software, platform engineering, or solutions architecture.
· Strong engineering mindset: You write code, review architectures, debug systems, and build prototypes. You are not just a “presenter” — you are a builder.
· Proven problem-solving ability: Track record of tackling ambiguous, complex technical challenges and delivering pragmatic solutions under real-world constraints.
· Deep enterprise customer experience: Significant experience working directly with large enterprise customers (Fortune 500 / Global 2000), particularly interfacing with enterprise architects, CTOs, and infrastructure teams.
· Customer-facing excellence: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences — from engineering teams to C-suite executives. You earn trust through competence and clarity.
· Hands-on technical proficiency across multiple domains: APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
· Experience with complex system integrations — connecting enterprise platforms, contact centers, CRMs, ERPs, and communication systems at scale.
· Understanding of scaled enterprise implementations — experience deploying and operating AI solutions across thousands of users, multiple regions, and complex organizational structures. You understand what it takes to go from pilot to enterprise-wide rollout, including performance engineering, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational readiness at scale.
· Experience with agent frameworks (Kore.ai Platform, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI ) or multi-agent orchestration patterns.
· First-principles thinker: You question assumptions, challenge the status quo, and approach every problem by understanding the fundamentals before designing solutions.
Strong Plus
· Experience with AI/ML systems — particularly LLMs, conversational AI, or agentic AI applications.
· Expertise in Voice AI and Customer Experience platforms — deep understanding of voice call automation, IVR modernization, speech-to-text/text-to-speech pipelines, telephony integrations (SIP/WebRTC), and end-to-end voice bot architectures in enterprise contact center environments.
· Background in RAG implementations, prompt engineering, or LLM-based application development.
· Experience at companies like Palantir, AWS, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega, or similar enterprise platform vendors in solutions-facing roles.
· Track record in building or scaling field engineering, solutions architecture, or forward deployed engineering functions.
Who You Are
· Relentlessly curious. You dig deeper when others stop, ask “why” five times, and genuinely enjoy understanding how complex systems work.
· A pragmatic engineer. You know when to build the elegant solution and when to build the one that works now. You balance technical excellence with business urgency.
· A trusted advisor. Enterprise architects and technical leaders see you as a peer, not a vendor. You earn credibility through depth, not slides.
· Comfortable in ambiguity. You thrive when there’s no playbook, when the requirements are unclear, and when the path forward needs to be invented.
· An owner. You take responsibility end-to-end — from initial discovery through production deployment. You don’t hand off problems; you solve them.
· A force multiplier. You make the teams around you better — customers, partners, and internal engineering alike.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
· Master’s degree or equivalent depth of expertise preferred but not required — we value demonstrated capability over credentials.
