Position: DevOps Engineer Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Salesforce development expertise to support and enhance our Salesforce delivery processes. This role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployments, and improving development workflows through DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations while bringing hands-on Salesforce technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Management Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications to enable efficient and reliable releases. Deployment Oversight & Monitoring Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Salesforce deployments across environments, ensuring stability and minimal disruption. Version Control & Source Management Utilize GitLab for source control, branching strategies, and release management in Salesforce development projects. DevOps Process Optimization Collaborate with Salesforce developers to streamline DevOps workflows, improve release cycles, and enforce best practices. Environment Management Support sandbox and production environments, including refreshes, configuration alignment, and deployment readiness. Collaboration & Support Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve deployment issues and enhance system reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in DevOps engineering
Solid background in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning, APIs, Metadata)
Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce
Expertise in GitLab (repositories, branching, merge requests, pipelines)
Experience with Salesforce deployment tools such as SFDX, Change Sets, or third-party DevOps tools
Strong troubleshooting and release management skills
