Summary
Title: SQL Data Analyst
Location: Minneapolis, MN - Only Locals
Duration: Contract to Hire
Experience: 10+
Note: Only candidates with independent work authorization will be considered.
Primary Responsibilities
· Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
· Develop and maintain databases and data pipelines
· Create reports and dashboards to visualize data insights
· Identify data quality issues and implement solutions
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
· Document data structures, processes, and analysis methodologies
· Support ad-hoc analysis requests from business teams
· Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory standards
Required Skills
· Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, window functions)
· Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
· Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, indexes, and query performance
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Troubleshoot data issues and provide technical support to business users
· Attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred Skills
· Python or R programming
· ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica)
· Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
· Business intelligence tools
· Version control (Git)
