Job Title: Senior AI Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL

Core Responsibilities

System Design & Scalability: Architect highly available, resilient microservices using .NET 8/9; optimize for high throughput and low-latency systems
Event Driven Architecture: Strong experience with real-time and asynchronous systems using Kafka, SQS, Solace, etc.
Cloud & Serverless: Hands-on experience with AWS services and serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway)
AI Orchestration & RAG Pipelines: Build backend logic for RAG systems including embeddings, data ingestion, and prompt workflows
MCP Server Engineering: Develop MCP servers for standardized LLM integration and tool-calling across platforms
Data Modeling: Work with Graph DB (Neptune), Vector DB (OpenSearch), and caching systems (Redis)
API Development: Design contract-first APIs using REST and SSE for AI service integration

Nice to Have

Experience with LangChain
MCPSharp / ModelContextProtocol.SDK
ML.NET
Exposure to LLMs / AI systems
