Kforce has a client seeking an onsite Staff App Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

Summary:
We are seeking a Staff Engineer, React Native (Mobile App) to join our Digital Engineering team and drive the technical direction of our enterprise-scale, digital ecosystem. This role is focused on mobile application architecture and engineering, with deep expertise in React Native, modern mobile application design, and enterprise-grade digital platforms. As a Staff Engineer, you will shape how we design, scale, and operate customer-facing mobile applications that support our global digital presence. You will set the technical standard for performance, resiliency, security, accessibility, and maintainability in our React Native applications, while partnering closely with backend and product teams. Exposure to GitHub Copilot and Generative AI is a plus, particularly in driving developer productivity and innovative customer experiences.

Responsibilities:
* Architect and evolve React Native-based enterprise mobile applications
* Apply modern mobile frontend patterns
* Define standards for integration with backend APIs and real-time/event-driven services
* Establish and enforce mobile UX and accessibility best practices
* Optimize app performance and reliability
* Ensure secure and seamless integration with identity management solutions
* Guide patterns for app configuration across multiple brands/tenants
* Explore and guide integration of GenAI-driven capabilities in mobile experiences
* Provide hands-on technical leadership for CI/CD pipelines
* Champion automation-first practices in mobile engineering
* Drive adoption of developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding solutions
* Establish coding standards, mobile design system adoption, and code review practices across geo-distributed teams
* Ensure production readiness through monitoring, diagnostics, and incident response patterns

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-year/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a Staff/Principal/Lead role
* Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale, React Native-based mobile applications with broad consumer usage
* Experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs
* Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, testing frameworks, and automation practices
* Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants for productivity
* Experience working in agile environments with geo-distributed teams
* Understanding of secure authentication and customer identity management

Strong hands-on expertise in:
* React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), mobile UI patterns, and cross-platform architecture
* State management libraries
* Mobile performance optimization

Preferred:
* Experience shipping and supporting apps in production, including release management and operational ownership
* Exposure to Generative AI
* Experience with multi-tenant or multi-brand digital platforms
* Familiarity with design systems and component libraries used across mobile products
* Experience with observability platforms and mobile monitoring/crash analytics
* Strong ability to communicate technical trade-offs to executives and engineers
* Awareness of responsible AI practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
